Artist Insight: 

There were so many arguments - so many projections of each other's insecurities.  It seemed like we couldn't agree on anything.  I searched my soul for one thing - one thing that could be our common ground: We both wanted to be happy.

Artist Insight:

I held on for so long.  I questioned my own belief systems - my own compassion and patience.  Was I being selfish?And in one moment it became clear that love was not enough.

Artist Insight:

Listen with your eyes closed.  This is my favorite song on the album;  I wrote it the week I broke up with my ex-boyfriend.  The irony was that I felt that he was the only one that could comfort me.  It was crazy-crazy-crazy.

Artist Insight:

I sat in a dark room burning a candle and allowing my own deep yearning to heal - express itself through my voice.  It was time to face "being alone" again.  I invoked the power of Spirit to enter my body, where it would open my heart to feel the pain so that I could finally be set free.

Artist Insight:

"Raven Heart" is the name of my son that I will have one day.  Last year he made it known, spiritually, that he wanted to come through me to have his earth experience.  I wasn't ready - so, I asked him to wait for me...

Artist Insight:

I wanted to connect with the energy of my future husband.  I kept writing sad and passionate lyrics, but nothing felt right.  I then realized that my husband is not sad!  He is a ray of light and whether I need uplifting or not - he chooses to uplift!  I can't wait to meet you my love.

I used to have days where I would wake up to my partner and just need some "me time" before I could handle anything else.  I wrote this song in order to find humor in those days!

Artist Insight:

I was teased heavily as a child.  My father was the principal of my elementary and then junior high school.  At one point I responded with physical violence to a boy that had been teasing me for months.  My parents were shocked.  But, what both they and I realized was that everyone has a breaking point.  I always stand up for those who don't yet know how to use their voice.  I stand up for those whose truest intention is to be a positive presence on this planet.
